The virtual event which broadcasted from Dallas Texas saw Kenya iconic artists perform despite not winning compared to previous years. 

Nadia Mukami and Akothee Had an exceptional performance at arguably the most looked at Music Awards in Africa. 

Jerusalema hitmaker Master Kg carted up to four awards Best Male Southern Africa, Artist of the year award, Song of the Year award, and Best collaboration with Burna Boy.

Nandy triumphed as Best Female East Africa while Zuchu earned the best newcommer. 

Dj Fully Focus was the only Kenyan who gained a victory as Best African Dj USA.
