If you are Youtube content creator outside Unites states you will be taxed by the US government later this year.
Google has responsibilites under the chapter 3 US Internal Revenue Code to collect tax information from all monetizing creators outside of the US. In certain instances, to deduct taxes when these creators earn income from viewers in the U.S.
In these case tax will be deducted from the earnings generated from viewers in the United states and through ad views, Youtube premium, Super chat, Super stickers , and Channel memberships.
So What does These mean for Content Creators?
Over the next few weeks creators will be asked to submit their tax information in google adsense,Under the payment section one can see United states tax info where creators will be asked to fill in a form with a series of question which will later determine the tax to be duducted from the earnings.
For Individuals they are required to fill in a FORM W-8BEN for individuals whereas bussiness will be required to fill in FORM W-8BEN-E. Even if yoy are paid by an MCN, you will need to submit your tax info in the Adsense account that's linked to your channel.
