The American Crime thriller series The Blacklist has secured it's renewal for the 9th season at the National Broadcasting Company.
The Blacklist which follows Raymond 'Red' Reddington played by James Spader, a former United States Navy officer who turned high-profile criminal who voluntarily surrenders to the FBI after dodging capture for decades.
Sharing the news on his twitter handle Harry Lennix who plays Harold Cooper as the Assistant Director of the FBI said,
"In case you haven't heard yet, #The Blacklist was renewed for season 9! I'd love to celebrate with all of you tonight if you'll join me for A Night of Noir Cinema. See you tonight at 7:30 EST."
The Blacklist premiered on NBC on September 23, 2013. Netflix later acquired right to stream the show , however The Blacklist from season 7 to season 8 is not available on Netflix UK but one can watch the show while using VPN.
