Arguably the artist who featured in many collabos back in 2020 Mejja Khadija Popular known as Okonkwo escaped arrest from Police Officer during his music video shoot.
According to a video seen by Africa- Tales team Mejja and Parroty were halted their video shoot after police officers raided the set with claims that they were shooting Explicit content in front of under-aged people.
However, Mtoto wa Khadija and his colleague Parroty were not arrested but the director and his crew were taken to 'Police Custody' - which till the publishing of this article it's unknown.
Moral cop Dr. Ezekiel Mutua has been on record warning Gengetone artists on their content as most of the song videos carry along with explicit content with them.
Mr. Mutua who went ahead and banned ' 2019 Necitizen national anthem' Wamlambez said he as the Kenya Film Classification board CEO is mandated to oversee content and make sure that only 'Clean' content is available for public view during watershed hours
Earlier this week Mr Mutua warned celebrities for promoting bizzare sensational stories to trend when Popular Tv And radio host Jalas hosted The Chiweru's twins on his Show Bonga Na Jalas.
"This so called celebrities are looking for bizarre sensational stories to trend ar the expense of our culture and morality. In the process they are normalizing, glorifying and glamorizing anti- social behaviors that run counter to our culture. This is wrong and should not be allowed. KFCB will pursue all possible legal means to stop this nonsense. User- Generated content must adhere to the law. Those using platform to broadcast content to the public will be held accountable for any breach of the law."
