Kenyan Films Nominated for Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2020, Kenyan filmmakers have done an exemplary job with remarkable productions. 

40 sticks leads nomination list in Africa' Oscars awards Africa Movie academy awards with eight nominations for;

Best Director (Victor Gatonye)

Best Actor(Robert Agengo/ Mwaura Bilal/ Andreo Kamau/ Xavier Ywawa)

 Best Supporting Actor(Arabrkb Nyyneque)

Achievement in Sound

Achievement in Cinematography

Achievement in Editing

Achievement in Screenplay.

Kenya's submission to Oscar The Letter also docked a nomination as Best Documentary while animation short The Legend of Lwanda Magere is nominated in Best animation Category. 

 Both 40sticks which earned 13 Nominations and The legend of Lwanda Magere have been nominated for the 2020's Kalasha International Television and Film Awards 2020.
